DLF-3000 v3_3
This is the latest revision of the firmware for the PM710 power meter.
Please update your PM710 power meter to have full compatibility with all available features.
Instructions:
- Verify the RS version by selecting DIAGN -> INFO.
If RS versionis RS2.000 use file: PM700_OS350.RS.2000.fw
If RS versionis RS2.010 use file: PM700_OS3050_RS_2010.fw - Using DLF 3000 Version 3.3, download the correct file
- after download is complete, you will see the meter resetting.
- You can verify the new firmware version selecting DIAG -> INFO from the main menu.
This is the latest revision of the firmware for the PM750 power meter. Please update your PM750 power meter to have full compatibility with all available features.
- Using DLF 3000 Version 3.3, download PM750_OS3050_RS3000.fw to the device
- After the download is complete, you will see the meter resetting.
- You can verify the new firmware version selecting MAINT -> INFO from the main men
This is the latest revision of the firmware for the Power Meter Series 800.
For full compatibility with all available hardware options, the RS, DL, and the OS portions of the firmware need to be updated.
- Using DLF 3000, download RS 10.600 to the device
- Download DL 10.700
- Download OS 11.500
- After the download is completed, you will see the meter resetting.
- You can verify the new firmware version selecting MAINT -> DIAG -> METER from the main menu.
Note that if you are upgrading a meter that has firmware older than v10.410 and you are adding a remote display, the firmware download must use the standard communication port (2-wire RS485).
Note: Communication to serial devices through the PM8ECC during firmware updates is not available. Communications should be restored automatically in most PowerLogic Systems.
PM8ECC -- The version 2.1 firmware update includes the ability to customize the user interface banner name (Equipment Name), auto negotiation improvements, and allows for support of the Schneider Electric branding initiative.
To properly update your PM8ECC: Transfer the version 2.1 firmware file (p8e02100.bin) to your Computer. Use FTP to copy the "p8e02100.bin" file from your Computer to the PM8ECC (once the file transfer is complete, the PM8ECC will automatically reboot).
Refer to the PM8ECC Users Guide if you need more information.
Allow the PM8ECC to reboot after the file transfer and browse the PM8ECC to confirm v2.1 is displayed.
The version 2.7 firmware update includes auto negotiation improvements, allows for support of the Schneider Electric branding initiative, and the ability to communicate with ModbusTCP/IP protocol over nonstandard MTU sized Ethernet networks.
To properly update your EGX100:
- Transfer the version 2.7 firmware file (eg02700.bin) to your Computer.
- Use FTP to copy the "eg02700.bin" file from your Computer to the EGX100 (once the file transfer is complete, the EGX will automatically reboot). Refer to the EGX100 Users Guide if you need more information.
- Allow the EGX100 to reboot after the file transfer and browse the EGX100 to confirm v2.7 is displayed.
Note: Communication to serial devices through the EGX during firmware updates is not available.
Communications should be restored automatically in most Powerlogic Systems.
EGX400 -- Upgrading the EGX400 to version 6.1 provides all the features of the EGX200 mentioned above plus data logging enhancements, increased support for the number of loadable device types (PLT files) from 32 to 64, SMTP client enhancements, and additional device type support for the ION7300.
To properly update your EGX400, the following steps must be followed in order:
- Browse the EGX to record the device list entries and which devices are being logged.
- (Optional) Use FTP to retrieve all currently logged data (".log" files) from the EGX. (Note: all logged data will be lost in step 6)
- Transfer the version 6.1 firmware file (egx06100.bin) to your Computer.
- Use FTP to copy the "egx06100.bin" file from your Computer to the EGX (once the file transfer is complete, the EGX will automatically reboot). Refer to the EGX 400 Users Guide if you need more information.
- Allow the EGX to reboot after the file transfer and browse the EGX to confirm v6.1 is displayed.
- Use FTP to delete all ".plt" files from the EGX (this will cause all logged data to also be deleted).
- Transfer the version 6.0 ZIP file (egx06000.zip) to your Computer.
- Extract the files from the "egx06000.zip" file to a known location on your Computer.
- Use FTP to copy all extracted files to the EGX, , overwriting all existing files.
- Browse the EGX and re-setup the device list and logging using what was recorded in step 1.
